About the well-organised VDA 5050 introduction process. As part of a large customer project, SYNAOS supported Götting KG in the introduction of the VDA 5050 interface - with great success.
The challenge
For a big customer project, Götting and SYNAOS collaborated on the conversion of manually guided vehicles into automated guided vehicles. Together, we faced the challenge of making Götting’s special type of automated guided vehicles (see picture of the automated tugger trucks in the section “solution”) available for VDA 5050.
The solution
Throughout the process, SYNAOS provided extensive documentation on how to interpret the VDA 5050. Furthermore, expert workshops were provided to dive deeper into the process.
A strong commitment to cooperation on both sides led to quick results. The SaaS solution by SYNAOS allowed fast access to the current version. All in all, it was a very well-structured onboarding process!
Why it was a success
Within only four weeks, SYNAOS and Götting were able to make tugger trucks available for the VDA 5050 and laid the groundwork for more projects in the future. The photo depicts the Linde P250 which was automated by Götting. Within our partner program, we made this type of tugger truck available for the VDA 5050
