Hannover, January 15, 2025 – Mobile transport robotics has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years. However, with the increasing adoption of automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and similar systems, manufacturers and operators of warehouses and distribution centers are facing new, more complex challenges.
To automate diverse transport tasks within a single layout, companies require a variety of specialized transport solutions that must work together seamlessly. As a result, interoperability has become indispensable in modern intralogistics. It ensures the efficient and trouble-free operation of diverse transport systems on the shop floor by enabling seamless communication and connectivity through adherence to shared technical norms and standards. This leads to higher efficiency, reduced costs, and greater flexibility in logistics processes.
For the first time at LogiMAT, visitors will have the opportunity to witness live demonstrations of how fleet management and hardware infrastructure can be harmonized. Over three days, the event stage at the Interoperability Hub will feature innovation pitches, expert panels, product presentations, and customer case studies from partners such as Omron, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and PohlCon, covering various aspects of interoperability and AMR applications.
On a 180-square-meter booth with a dedicated operating area, numerous mobile robotic systems from different manufacturers will be in live operation, orchestrated by SYNAOS' central control system and charged using Wiferion's inductive charging systems. The practical demonstrations make it clear: interoperable solutions already enable greater efficiency, lower operating costs, and maximum flexibility.
